I see some people are down on CJ...I think Wisconsin had something to do with that

Good point, Wisconsn did score a whopping 6 points. Stave was an offensive juggernaut.

I said the wind didn't bother Stave I didn't say he scored. 21-38 for 234 is a tad better than 9-21 for 79 yards. How many 2nd half completions did we have 2?

Play calling was terrible, nothing to counter the blitzes.

Not quite. We called a number of screens but either didn't execute - Croston really struggled - or had a poor blocking scheme. Arguably more play design than play call per se, which Brock Huard noted as "almost arrogant pass protection". The rollouts looked awful, but again appeared we whiffed some blocks. Surprised at no slants, at least that I recall. And look, CJ flat missed several throws and the receivers dropped some.

A successfully run screen play would have gone for big yardage all day.....never happened. O-Line had trouble with Bucky's D-Line. It happens. We couldn't pass....they couldn't run. Equalized out. I'd rather win depending on a run game than a passing game.

CJ still undefeated as starter. Iowa undefeated this year with a road win over a ranked B1G opponent.

If you're down about that, go away!

The last call you make against a 3-4 with athletic linebackers is a screen.

What I was hoping to see was more 3 TE sets that I think could have kept their linebackers at bay.
