Anybody else want to man up and admit that you find yourself enjoying watching State play? Can't be just me.
I have only peeked in on them now and again as I would even rather watch other Big 10 games if our future opponents are playing. I was born and raised in Des MOines, left to go to the U and spent about 15 years around Iowa City. Been back in Des MOines since 85. I used to like to watch ISU highlights a long time ago but I have always just been a big Iowa fan. ISU is fun to watch, heck they have been off and on with some decent teams.
Now if some of you have read my posts over the past 6-7 years you know how boring I think Iowa's offense is and I even picked on the Parker's bend but dont break style, or prevent the victory defense.
You know my whole attitude against Kirk's super conservative nature, I have called him out for some of the dumbest game time management decisions, and I would always like to see more players get some time to find the playmakers.
But most of all it is the conservatism. The hawks threw 4 passes over 25 yards last Saturday and we got a 28 yard TD, a 45 yard completion on a WOW catch, a PI, and one incompletion. 3 out of 4, 75% which is better than Kirk's win %.
jNW crowded the line and dared us to pass it deep and we could have done it successfully a lot more.
I hate to see the waste that is going on especially with the offense year in and year out.
