It's OK to say we really aren't any good. Have we made progress? Yes. Are we going to have a winning record? IMO no. I'd be happy with win #12 at this point.
Iowa did not let Nebraska dictate tempo at all.
I keep seeing this stated and it's just not true. Nebraska was 1-12 when taking a shot in the last 6 seconds of the shot clock. It was mentioned numerous times that they were 0-11 then they hit one big shot toward the end. It wasn't us getting beat really late in the shot clock that hurt us. It was us getting beat earlier. Over-rotating. Leaving Richardson so a ball rotation gives him a wide open 3. Playing their guards too far out on the perimeter and getting too high to allow the drive. Some credit has to go to Nebraska too. They hit some tough shots with guys in their face late in the game.Iowa played defense for 30 secs per possession. I can't tell you how many times the shot clock was at or below 5 secs.

Yes, great point. Offensive rebounds definitely hurt us.I wonder how many of their TWELVE offensive rebounds came after these 11 misses though. That's what killed, anytime you give a team that many second looks it's going to bite you in the hind end.
