My most optimistic prediction show us winning only 8 games in the conference. Only three conference games strike me as "for sure" wins.

We were close last season to getting in. If we had beaten NW, the talk was that we were on the bubble and likely in because of quality wins in the conference. If we finish 9-9 in the Big Ten this season, they will be unable to keep us out......

We were not close to getting in last year. We were the last team in the NIT. There were 31 teams between us and the tournament last year.
