Yawn. That was quite the recruitment speech. Is he saying that none of his coaches ever tell a recruit that they are offering the best opportunity?

No. What he said was that they don't tell recruits that they know Iowa is the best place for him.

Telling somebody that you don't know well that you know what's best for them is arrogant.
Unless that somebody is between 2-18 and you're their parent.

What I don't understand is if Martin is so reserved like we've heard quite frequently, why on earth would he go to a place like Michigan where most of those kids and coaches are outgoing, outspoken A-type personalities? Doesn't seem like a good fit. My guess is he'll transfer in a year or two.
