+1! I believe this off season will provide plenty of talking points. Will Norm be one, id say still up in the air and no final call has been made.I think Norm will retire but I also think that the defense has NEVER been the problem. For 13 seasons Norm has covered KOK's but as best he can. The offenses inability to consistently score points or even move the football has been the overall problem with the program. Norm and the D have carried this program every year. And today the D played as well as they could given the complete ineptitude of the offense- even when the D stopped Nebby often.

As I said in the OP, THIS was NOT on the D. Just saw Norm up in the press box and got the sense that he was ready to move on.
I've always comically looked at KOK running a pro-style offense is like when someone who has driven automatic transmissions for the majority of his life jumps behind the wheel of stick. It's not llke he won't be able to move the car at all. I mean he was taught/shown how to do it before. He would have good stretchs and others where he would stall it.
He is mind is made up of spread offense tendencies. And is shackeled inside a pro-offense.
Good thing is according to the W/L trends this year, we should win the bowl.
I saw Norm get off bus today in Lincoln...the dude can barely move....can't walk on his own at all....it was super sad...it's time for him to hang it up.
