In other breaking news today, Nebraska has indefinitely suspend two redshirt freshman that were expected to see playing time this year. Both WR Andre Hunt and TE Katerian Legrone are off the team. Mum is the word on why but Husker Nation is a buzz. If it is legal issues this could catapult the Frosties to the #2 position in the Fulmer Cup Standings which they are currently tied for 3rd.

Nebraska has not announced their plans for WR Maurice Washington who is practicing with the team but he has a 3 September court date in California for felony and misdemeanor child porn charges.

1. That's awesome. Anything bad happening to those dirtbags is ok in my book.

2. There's such a thing as misdemeanor child porn? Is that like kinda-sorta being a pedophile?

It's wacky in California. Actually I think the misdemeanor charges are "revenge porn" and the felony is "child porn" as she was 15 at the time.

That's the Nebraska way. Of course if he were 3rd team, then it's time to get tough (to free up some scholarships).

Bugeater logic would be something like this ... "It did not happen in Nebraska. If it did, we would dismiss the charges, so he is still on the team."

The bar is very low in Huskerland.

You can beat a woman half to death, kidnap her, drag her down a flight of stairs by her hair, slam her head off a mailbox and bring a gun used in a felony to Tom Osdouche for safe keeping, and not only will he lock it up in his publicly-owned office, he’ll still let you play football on his team.

Not only that, you can witness the crime described above, cower in fear in a closet and do nothing, and you can get hired as the head coach of the same football team in the future.

So its interesting to hear some of the media over here kinda excuse it away. heard one of em say yesterday it wasn't as bad because "it wasn't one of the physical assault ones, so its not like as bad as all those one where somebody beat somebody up.....its only really bad because ya know were dealing with a minor, that's the only bad part of it."

that was what was all over the media over here.

Rumors floating around now on their boards that it is related to a narcotics in use call that police responded to about 7 block south of campus Tuesday night. One of the suspects fled the scene and was then apprehended and involved in an altercation with police and broke an officers nose. The officer was transported to a local hospital. Lincoln police have not yet released the names of the suspects arrested. Neither UNL or the police have confirmed if this is Hunt or Legrone who were suspended from the team Wednesday morning.

I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding.
 
I simply put Nebraska in the same category as Ohio $tate, Pedo State and the Michigan State child rapists. No rules; just win at all costs so our moronic fans can thump their chests and talk about "restoring order" or "we've won more national championships than you have." It is sad and pathetic.
