Aquaman would rip that shark to ribbons in a flash of a second.....

We got heavy winds moving in. Spitting rain sideways every couple of minutes. I ran out to mow the lawn right after Oklahoma scored its last TD of the first half on the Clowns and got back in right when Troy muffed that punt against Nebraska. Timed it perfectly. And there was about a 5 minute burst of heavy rain that started not even 30 seconds after I walked in. If anyone needs evidence God is a football fan, there it is boys.

I have a suspicion that people are going to underestimate the damage that'll be caused by that amount of rain. A mere 7 inches over a few hours turned Des Moines, a city with decent drainage, into an emergency flash-flooded hellscape. Did about 5K of damage to my property, which had never before been impacted by water. 7 measly inches.

15 deaths at last count. I'd say it was pretty bad, just not in the places where originally expected.

It started raining this afternoon and it rained hard...and its still raining. Expecting heavy rain until early AM Tuesday. I fear if winds pick up a lot of trees will fall since the soil is saturated.

We only got a 36 hour mist down here. That sumnabitch turned hard north and NC looks like it's getting a lot of rain. Just a few counties north of me there were torrential rains and massive flooding, but I'd be surprised if we even got 2 inches total.
