Hugh Freeze out at Mississippi...

Not totally sure of the specifics of the issue but if this is another sanctimonious bible thumper who is breaking rules, cheating in various ways, then I hope the Ole Miss program takes a big hit. These coaches are supposed to be leaders and developers of young 18 year olds to become men. I also hate all these sanctimonious politicians and law enforcement people who thump the bible then give billions to the ultra rich and steal and break the law.
 
I live about 3 hours north of their campus. Their fans are terrible. Hottie Tottie my ass. The dude was dumb enough to use his employee school paid for phone for that crap. Then after it was made public the school initially had his back. Thankfully the media kept on them to investigate and sure enough it wasn't just one call...(it never is)...
That school shouldn't be in the clear on all this crap. They pretty much enabled him to break recruiting rules left and right the whole time he was there. I think they did more than just have their heads in the sand when it comes to their boosters. They were just running wild. How else did they go from the doormat to a pain in Alabamas side the last few years? Knowing how the NCAA works they might drop a hammer on them eventually but man they sure should right away that program is a mess and it wasn't just Freeze as bad as he was.

I'm hoping someone can take me back to the beginning of the MSU and Ol Miss issues that have been in the news. Never really got the gist of the NCAA investigations there

They've been under the scope for awhile for recruiting violations.. Dude was a snake from the git go. The rest of the SEC had been biotching about him and the program for awhile. He tried being the Tim Tebow of coaches by wearing the religious cape. But unlike Tebow he's as disingenuous as it gets. Most saw through him but when it comes to recruiting the kids they didn't. They ate it up and loved the 100 dollar handshakes the boosters constantly gave them. The school enabled him and even when the phone call deal here first came up the school wanted to try sweeping it under the rug. His first quote on it was that it was a wrong number and the school said there was NO PATTERN without having even looked... Well the media due to the fact it was going to all be made public through the court pushed the school to investigate or they would and needless to say that didn't take long....
 
I'm shocked by the news. Who knew there's cheating going on is the SEC. Ole miss will lose some scholarships which will open up the recruiting for other SEC teams to hand out cash and prostitutes.
 
How much stupid does it take to be a millionaire who could afford 50 Verizon plans, and still use your work phone to call hookers??

Really though. How much stupid does that take?

My employer comes right out and tells us that they're going to look at our call history, emails, and texts every month on our company provided phones to cover their ass. Hence, if I could afford a hooker I wouldn't use that phone to call one. And, as most of you know by now, I'm not a rocket scientist.

Or just go to Walmart, CVS , walgreens or whatever and buy a burner phone. I am not condoning the behavior, but how can you be that stupid?
 
Looks like Ole Miss former coach had a hand in bringing this public. He's pretty pissed off and apparently had even threatened the university that he was going to do this.
