Hubbard Gone?

Anyone else think this guy just shot himself in the foot? Who is going to give him a scholarship now? The felony was bad enough but to follow that up by walking out on the school that he signed with after only a few months. Good luck with that Anthony.
 
The worst part of this to me is that it leaves the team with Marble as the only other option at PG. Iowa quit recruiting Glover who could fulfill the same needs as Hubbard because they had Hubbard. This is a real stab in the back for a team that gave you a BIG second chance.
 
If Hubbard wasn't as old as he was I would understand this better.Given his age of 26 I find this utterly ridiculious. Sorry just my .02 cents.

Anyone think the Iowa City "fishbowl" played a role in this? Hard to be anonymous in Iowa City; perhaps the constant identification due to his past ultimately became uncomfortable.

But way to repay a coach and AD who went to bat big time for you. What a waste.
 
I heard Fran just single-handedly destroyed the new addition of Carver after hearing the news. It won't be ready now until 2014.
