I'm sure the league heard it big time from the moneyed donors at various schools. But if there's going to be a season, at least the B1G has some of the best medical schools around to monitor things. Dr. Osterholm in Minneapolis is one of the best in the business.

Players who test positive must sit out 21 days - wow! That is bound to impact what will already be a wacky season.
Iowa kind of lucked out this year in terms of its talent. The team has 5-10 draft eligible players, but none are sure-fire Day 1 or 2 picks so I am guessing all will opt into playing this fall.
We could argue about whether or not testing resources should be going to college athletes (and have a whole other conversation about $ and amateurism in college sports), but it's undeniable that the Big Ten has been far, far more thoughtful on the health and safety approach to restarting competition compared to the leagues already in play. Ed Orgeron all but consented that LSU's entire team will probably get infected.

Hopefully KF is preaching the need to severely limit social circles. Its three months of their lives. They need to be in their apartments and football complex and basically thats it. Drastic times.....

I think during the season this becomes pretty much a requirement anyway, they dont really have time for anything else

How are the HVAC systems in the apartments? Hopefully these dudes are living in places with independent heat because those communal heat systems are probably how this sumnabitch ripped through NYC so hard.
