Division titles are what Danny Mac dreamed of and in basketball like winning tourney titles Stevie Boy Blunder preached as winning the "Championship."

The season will be remembered as Iowa can once again be competitive and can win a lot of games against meh and ok teams, but ultimately can't quite hang with the big boys.

You know what my lasting memory of the 1985 team is? Two words: Ronnie Harmon. Two more: Gaston Green.

You know what I remember from the 1990 season? Mark F'n Brunell.

From this season I fear that the lasting memory will be 35-0. And that PED-jacked McCaffery.

lol :) Nice one tksirius. However it seems I will be around because the right thing was done with Mike23, but lucky for you I've pretty much stopped participating in BB game threads. Not into them much anymore.
 
Lol, was just watching Chuck long talking about our season on the BTN. He mentioned the lack of four and five star recruits that we get and how it was a good season considering that. Why I laugh is because right after those comments that commercial with KF sitting on some eggs in a nest came on and I thought how KF laid an egg today. It gives new meaning to that commercial.
 
The guy that Long is talking with said the B1G has only had 2 rose bowls victories this millinium so we have had a lot of company in losing rose bowls.

We also got to see what the conference looks like when Ohio State is a little down and someone else wins the B1G east besides them........ Not to hot in my opinion.

I am not surprised we lost to MSU or Stanford as we had several games we could easily have lost and that was against programs that were a little down themselves. I am dissapointed however in how we lost against Stanford. They didn't look that good against some of the teams they played this year.

I am also tired of hearing how Iowa can't recruit four or five star players. We are little ole Iowa I guess and little ole Iowa we will always be I guess.

Well I guess the attention now flips back to Fran and the basketball team. Go Fran and team!!!!

If calling other people "morons" and "douches" while accusing someone of misogyny wasn't lowbrow enough, now you're accusing someone of taking steroids. There is something seriously wrong with you. I get that your pink logo is to support breast cancer but the light pink really does sum you up nicely. You should stop watching football, you act like a petulant teenager throwing out insults as you pout like a 2 year old. You're angry about a season in which you played no part other than watching. You're insulting people because of it and your inability to control yourself. Worst of all, you're accusatory. Be sure to wear your panties on the outside of your pants in the future to mark that you're a big mouth, sore loser with a bad temper so we know to avoid you like the plague you are. Talk about poisoning the well with arrogance and stupidity.
 
I'll remember this season as huge success. Between the Cubs and the Hawks, it has been the best 8 months of sports of my lifetime. I will always remember this team as a champion. I've never enjoyed a season more than this one. You could feel the connection between coaches and players as a team that truly cared for one another and enjoyed playing the game. That's so refreshing to watch a group of young men who put the team first. They are a class-act. They deserve your respect.

In the Big Ten Championship game, I've never seen an Iowa team play harder than it did that day. That's what I'll remember, not the loss.

Obviously today didn't go as planned, but to me, it takes NOTHING away from the season these kids and coaches had. I watched every minute...it was great to see CJ's resiliency, Akrum's TD. I have so much respect for the job these warriors did. To bash them is misguided and gutless.

Regular season wins were nice, but it's hard to really celebrate a team that had 2 games to claim their status as an elite team and lost both, including the RB in totally embarrassing fashion. To me this Iowa squad is a good team that ultimately was the benefactor of a weak schedule.

Hate to say it, but this is the way I will remember this season. 12 wins is nice and I will always remember it being a fun & interesting season, but in the end, I will always believe that the last two games of this year (as well as MSU getting stomped by 'Bama) proves that this Iowa team was never elite, but rather a solid team. Honestly, they probably were more like an Outback/Citrus type team.
 
This plane went nose first into the Tarmac from 50,000 feet. Everyone on board was smashed into the an unidentifiable clump of nothing the size of a bottle cap within a millisecond. There wasn't even a fire to put out, you basically just stand and shrug your shoulders and walk away speechless. Someone says wtf happened? You just say "I'm not really sure."
