How much will ISU be favored over Iowa next season?

Maybe, but that's not the same thing. Plus, I think he had NFL experience.

So you mean to tell me that a nearly 400 pound man wouldn't struggle to recruit, but a man with a slight stutter does? Come on now. I think you're trolling me.

I'd say they'll be favored we are one of the worst D1 programs in the country now. We might lose to Missouri State this year! ISU will beat us by 2 Touchdowns because they'll have a QB with experience.

Still don't know what trolling means.

Never said his obesity didn't hurt him, but it's not the same thing as stuttering, and if he did have NFL experience that gives him an advantage over Rhoads, i think in the recruit's eyes.

As bad as Iowa is, they will beat Mo State and you got no idea how bad isu is if you think they beat the hawks by two tds.

My WAG(Wild azz guess) is that if ISU is favored it's only by 3. And then because the game is in Ames. ISU lost a lot of D. Iowa lost little from a mediocre team. Kind of a toss up..

I think you've got it wrong here. We had some injuries in game seven that screwed us for the balance of the year on offense. If you didn't notice, our left side was like the turnstile at a New York subway station starting with the second quarter at Penn State through the Nebby game. It was flat out ugly. JVB's anti-anxiety medication wasn't working and our receivers couldn't catch the ball very well. That being said, with Scherff and Donnal supposedly healthy, all we have to do is replace an undersized, overachieving center. There are 3 guys competing for that spot and several others that are going to push the starters on the OL. We now have a stable of running backs, rather than one or two guys, and our receivers will be a year older and more mature. The offense will be able to run the ball on anyone...yes...anyone.

We will get a bunch of answers in the NIU game, but their offensive line (all returning by the way) didn't exactly push us around in that opening game...and key guys are now all a year older too. If our offense is as good in the running game as I think, our defense will be well rested in trying to stop NIU. If Iowa wins that game, they will be favored at Jack Trice. Oh, and ISU weakness this coming year will be stopping the run. They lost a ton on the d-line and LB position.

ISU lost a lot on the dline and 2 good lb's, but it seems like they rotated 12-14 guys on the front 7. Will be interesting.
