How much longer does Fran get?

So what do you think the issue is then?
There were players who didn't work at it at time, especially Jok. The young players progressed as the season went on. It takes time, film study, getting used to Big 10 play. What takes the longest is to learn how to play help defense. It just takes time. If they're bad next year then it's a question of effort. Unless a player comes in as a defensive specialist they have to be taught. If players were leaving because Fran was screaming or not treating players right it would be one thing. Look at how many players left Lick because they didn't have confidence in him. I've never heard one player have anything bad to say about Fran. In case you haven't heard it Fran has talked all year that it takes patience when dealing with young players.Sometimes we as fans see things to get better and then expect everything click from there on out. We don't get the 5 star players that have been coached up like that. Do you think there was any progress made throughout the year.

echo, this seems a point that most fans don't want to touch with a ten foot pole. Something happened last season behind the scenes but we will never really know what. I thought it looked like the players became burned out and mentally checked out while still trying to stick together. We've had posters on this and other boards say that they had really intense coaches like Fran back in their playing days and found them very difficult to play for which I don't find hard to imagine at all.

Oh yeah. And this.

You must have been in a self-induced coma the last four regular season games.

I'll catch you up real quick.

Amazing comeback win vs. Indiana after sleep walking first four minutes to a 17-4 hole. Bad news: Iowa wins.

Absolute domination of #22 Maryland with NCAA championship team in the house at Mary's House. "Fans" are leaving with 6 minutes to play. Really bad news for you. Iowa wins.

Punch-for-punch vs. #24 Connie there. Badger take good size lead for low scoring game but then choke under Hawk pressure. Really sucks bad for you: Iowa wins.

A scrappy Penn State team was dominated by Iowa on last game of the season. More bad news. Iowa won.

So yeah, other than four consecutive wins, two by knockout and two gut-checks, yeah, sounds just like every other year.
Did you see the Indiana tournament game? Ya I'd call that unraveling.

You said "late season unraveling". Now your just ducking your own observation because you look silly and now want to change it to "tournament" game just so it will fit into your new narrative.

Did you watch any other BTT game or just Iowa? Please explain how 3-4 other Big10 teams unraveled in the BTT when it is just a Franonenum?

Claiming that losing a conference tournament is "unraveling" is idiotic and I think he knows that. Only 1 team "won't" unravel according to that logic.

Crean took Marquette to a Final 4 and was the 2016 B1G coach of the year. Not sure why you think it's such a shame to lose to a tradition rich program like the Hoosiers.

Of all the Big Ten Tourney losses for Fran, to me this one was most excused. Indiana had much more talent than a 10 seed and they shot lights out.
