He always shuts down runs with big shots. One thing's for sure, it cost us 1 win by him missing most of the end of the ISU game.

Each of Iowa's top 6 players are in the top 5 in at least 1 category.

If we didn't have Jok I think Uhl would start in his place and it would mean more minutes for Baer & Ellingson. Without Jok I think Iowa would be about 16-7, so IMO he is worth 3 wins over replacement. The Florida State game Iowa definitely loses without Jok.

There were plenty of factors, but in a thread titled "how many wins is Peter Jok worth" it's the only factor that matters. We would have won if he was in there. He scored like 15 points in 5 minutes at the start of that half.

Funny you say that because last game Uthoff did the same thing but he still shot it because he was wide open. He missed and I knew he was going to.

Sometimes it's just tough cause they are moving so fast and in the flow of a game. I bet Uthoff wanted that ball back the moment it left his fingers too. As a shooter you just know.. He and Jok both have become such good all around players. Neither can be pigeon holed into saying well if you take away this about their game... If there's one thing I'd nit pick at Fran about with his lineup/rotations is I'd like to see the period of time where both of them are off the floor at the same time to be at an absolute minimum.
