Nothing frustrates me more than having people "squeeze" their friends into the seats.

I paid for my 18 inches of space.....I want all of it!

That's the great thing about having the seatbacks/cushions.
Some people will argue they aren't too comfortable. However, you are absolutely guaranteed your space.
