at my tailgate yesterday, it was said that their former isu qb who played against us, the one who left the team for medical reason. It was said he was actually kicked off the team because he has a serious drug problem. I was kind of surprised to hear this.
That is 100% not the case and whomever told you has bad info.

Personally, I hope ISU wins a lot of games this year and finishes high in the B. 12. Then when they come to Iowa City next year, all of the Iowa haters won't be able to claim that we don't play anyone in the non-conference part of the season. And, we will beat them at Kinnick, rubbing salt in the doubters' wounds. Yahoo!

I doubt it actually. Their offense isn't nearly as good without Park actually. Here is what they have done yardage wise without Park:
Kansas 318
Texas Tech 400
TCU 255
The only good offensive game they had without Park was vs OU, and they were still outgained by 65 yards.
If Iowa and ISU played 10 times, Iowa would win 5 and ISU 5
I think it would be more telling of how their defense has improved. Iowa might only muster 7 points if a rematch happened this week.

ISU’s D isn’t better than Iowa’s. Iowa’s scoring D > ISU scoring D. Iowa wouldn’t give up 467 yards vs this ISU team now either.
ISU is winning games on Turnover margin. They are 8th nationally in turnover margin. This is precarious to live and die by, luck plays a big part in turnovers. For instance MSU has like 19 fumbles but only 4 fumbles lost, that is luck they haven’t lost 3x as many of those fumbles.
I didn't say anything about ISUs d compared to Iowa's. I was just saying ISU D > Iowa O
