As I get older the seasons go faster and faster. Time to slow down and enjoy what we have here. Before we know it we are stuck watching Iowa getting obliterated in Carver !!
You're right about enjoying the journey of this season, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the basketball team...I'm not saying NIT or NCAAs, but I don't think they're heading for the worst beatdown since "Eskimos vs Baby Seals" that everyone seems to be predicting.

True, the season has flown by.
For Da Haterz I’m sure it has been dragging.

The season goes by faster each and every year. For those of you younger then 50, sorry to break it to you, but it really gets fast at this age.
We’re you pleasantly surprised Shane? 10-22 and got a baby seal beating all season long!
And they got worse as the season went on. And there were threats of mass transfers form the second year in a row, led by the two best players Matt Gatens and Aaron Fuller. We’re you pleasantly surprised Shane? 10-22 and got a baby seal beating all season long!

That was enough to awaken Gary Barta from his slumber. That was the year that about ten busloads of Illinois students filled the section behind Iowa's second half basket.
Had that game been played the night of the Orange Bowl, when we did play in Champaign, there wouldn't have been 2,000 people at Carver.
