1. It doesn't matter if he made some boneheaded plays, the offense was a lot better when Banks was in, and he would have learned from his mistakes sooner if he would have played more.1. Banks showed his physical gifts the year before, but in spot duty made some really boneheaded plays.
2. Stanzi beat out Christensen; if you're referring to '07, barring disaster Kirk just won't ever put in a freshman QB, no matter what the talent gap appears to be.
3. I do question the Vandenberg decision, but Rudock was a freshman and Kirk had to believe that JVB would figure out the offense at some point with his history.
