I posted a answer to a posters ? about who had a BCS bowl win anf then Tanked within 2 seasons, and it was Auburn who won the NC and then has gone 3-7 and 0-7 in conference play this season in 2012, they also could end the season 0-8 in confertence play
so it is possible for teams to fall off the Top in a very short period of time, Iowa is not the exception nor is it a rareity
TX IN 2009 went 13-1 playing Alabama in a BCS bowl the next season in 2010 went 5-7
2011 7-5 before their bowl game and won and this after TX fired GD
this season 8-2 with 2 games left and could end the season at 8-4,, so much for GD being the problem , who's going to get fired next down there
Baylor in 2011 went 10-3 and now is 4-5 on the season in 2012
do you really believe Iowa is above this?

There was a reason that the 3 teams you mentioned got worse - transcendent (OK, maybe not McCoy, but he was very good that year) QB that was not replaced.

Auburn - Newton (Heisman winner and #1 overall pick)
Baylor - Griffin (Heisman winner and #2 overall pick)
Texas - McCoy (3rd in Heisman voting, 2nd year before and 1st round pick) Remember, he got injured very early vs Bama in Championship game.
 
I think he uses something that looks like this to post these ramblings. Must be why they never make sense and have a *** ton of grammatical errors.

This guy needs go take a break. Not everything in your head will wind up sounding good when you type it. Especially when starting a new thread every thought.

You might be talking about a thread I started, which was titled: "4-8"
 
The best way to find a thread is to look for it.......I look at the top right of this page and click my user name it takes me to a page that has all my threads and replies. I then locate the one I am looking for on the list followed by a single click upon that link. It opens up and I go from there. Or I just create a new thread.

kinda figured there would be excuses made for the teams I mentioned
with those teams they get far better talent.for you to use the, "they lost their QB" excuse
Iowa lost Stanzi to graduation in 2010, BUT THAT DOES NOT COUNT, BECAUSE IT IS A EXCUSE.
Iowa also replaced 3 NFL players off the DL, but you say thats not acceptable because that's a
"EXCUSE".
WHAT HAPPENED TO THOSE TEAM IS A FACT
no excuse for one,, then it means no excuses for anybody else
 
You all say this guy is "herby" which really doesn't mean anything to me as I have no idea who that is. I've gathered through threads that he was banned at some point and now goes by this alias? Is he just a huge troll or has he always made posts like a drunken 10 year old high on whip-its?
 
these type of responses I expected.. the question was asked to show one team that has done what Iowa has gone thru after a BCS game and I GAVE NOT ONE BUT THREE examples.
but true to horm poster write them off because of theIr EXCUSES
Stanzi left after the 2010 season "But that's not acceptable for posters because that is a "EXCUSE"
Iowa lost 3 DL TO THE NFL, again that's not acceptable because its a "EXCUSE"
if Iowa cannot have " EXCUSES" then nobody else can have "EXCUSES"
