How Bronco! BSU looking Good

I don't care how good BSU or TCU is they don't deserve a BCS game until they join an actual conference. Any team can get up for 2 games and then skate through the rest of the season against cupcakes. Put either of them in the Big Ten, Pac 10 or SEC and they lose at least 4 games a year, no question in my mind.

IMO if you are rooting for BSU or TCU you are rooting against the Hawks. Even if we go undefeated we still won't get the NC game if the other two go unbeaten as well.

Even if they win those games. Boise is 2-0 in BCS games, same as Utah.

Boise St looks like they are getting a bit tired. VT is back in the game. VT should bust a play action on this over aggressive D of bSU.

We've got ourselves a game folks! VaTech scores to make it 20-14 BSU. I'm hoping BSU's adrenaline has subsided a bit and VaTech has gotten the willies out.

I don't really get where you were going with this, but like the poster who you quoted pointed out, they're 2-0 in BCS games after playing a weak conference schedule. Utah plays in a weak conference as well.

Boise is a good team. Definitely a Top 15, or Top 10 team this year. That being said, VT is setting this game up on a platter for them through the first two quarters.

Jon: you recently used the term 'hidden yardage' or something similar with respect to Iowa special teams play. This game proves the value of taking care of the little things. VA Tech had that kickoff that went out of bounds to give Boise good field position. The result was a Boise FG. Those things add up, and Tech seems determined to give all sorts of opportunities to Boise. Tech is the anti-Iowa when it comes to discipline (and uniforms). I'm still rooting for them, but don't feel great about it.

The worst part about this game, is the winner will still be ranked ahead of Iowa. Possibly both!

Fine. They're still 2-0 in those games. I'm tired of the same, recycled arguments that get used against Boise, and the "weak conference" arguments is among the oldest. They can't help that everyone else in their league sucks. I think it's fairly impressive that Boise knows going into the season that they have to run the table and are still able to do it.

Unless your argument is that playing in a weak conference is what allows teams like Boise and Utah to get there - but that's purely a hypothetical. Both of these teams regularly kick the crap out of whatever BCS teams they go up against.

But is BSU loses by a few points they could remain in the top 10 especially with the way OU and Florida performed.

Agree to disagree. No matter how much I try to explain where I'm coming from you're not going to get the fact that they play in a weak conference which allows them to be able to run the table like they do and vice-versa.

Oh, I get where you're coming from. I just think it's a weak, lame, old argument.
