Hotel recommendations

planning on staying in Iowa City for the Gopher game this fall, any recommendations for a reasonable price, clean hotel?

No such thing as "reasonable" on home game weekends, Sir. Even the Holiday Inn Express in Coralville charges $250/night, for an $89 room.
Plus, you're only 6-7 weeks in advance; I suspect you won't find many options.

On top of 2-3x the regular nightly rate, they usually require a two night stay! Like others have said... better check CR at this late date. Good Luck!

Usually if you want to wait for the week before the game you can call around and find something due to cancellation

There's a couple of b & b's in ic that sometimes have openings this late for a fairly reasonable price, like over on brown street. Cant bring the party there but they are accommodating in other ways. Look online.

Check out hotwire as well. And like previous poster said things sometimes open up the last few days.

You might be able to get a room in Burlington at cheaper rate and still gamble and eat alot cheaper and possible drive to Iowa City under 60 dollars a night . I think you'll have enough money left over for something else... 4 hotels to choose.

I was going to say try a B & B. Just don't bring the party. Good options tho, they may raise rates as well...
