Hoke in Full Clap Mode

Conflicted here...

So I want MU to beat these guys because Urban Meyer needs a reality check soon. But I think the Hawks dont' benefit at all.

1) Greatly affects the 2-up scenario, although OSU probably still wins the B10 champ and gets us WI/MSU to BCS.

2) MU wins, do they try to jump the Hawks in bowl order because of all their "momentum".

So. I guess clap more? Maybe?

Bowl game is an exhibition so not concerned about it for that reason, but would like to see OSU win the National Championship.

Lemme get a pulse here...

Hypothetical, if OSU loses today and in the CCG, does the B1G still get 2 into BCS bowls?

I so loathe Ohio State.....it borders on quasi-insanity....I want Michigan to win for no other reason than to see OSU lose.

On the other big-picture-hand, I want OSU to win since it'll help the Hawks in a bowl game selection and heightens the league's status.

damm....

I would think you'd want OSU to win today for increasing Iowa's bowl spot - for iowa to end up in the outback bowl, two teams need to get into BCS and that doesn't happen if OSU loses today, IMO.

I think MSU has a better than tossup chance at beating OSU in big ten champ game - OSU is not too stout on D.

I think B1G gets 2 in the BCS, either way.

I wouldn't think that for sure. I could see only 1 team getting in if OSU were to lose these next two games. It wouldn't be likely (as well as OSU losing out is unlikely); but the B1G is already viewed as weak. If the top team were to lose out, it'd further make the case.

We'll just has to wait and see what happens (and enjoy the last games of the season).

Amazing finish. I really thought that Hoke would play for OT considering his record this year in extra periods.

Maybe he knows his team enough to know they had given it their all and were completely gassed. Gutsy to go for two.

All that matters for Iowa is the chips are falling into place for an Outback bowl slot. MSU and tOSU have won out and are headed to Indy next week.
