Regardless, damn proud of him. I suspected early on he was gonna be a good one, but no one could have expected a Mackey award just as a sophomore.

Yep, he will be gone in the first round of the draft. Good for him as it is well deserved. I am always happy for all the players who make it to the pro’s. It’s just frustrating that the team can’t utilize those special players and put together a monster season as a TEAM for ALL to enjoy.

One think Kirk gets right is churning out tight ends most years at Iowa. We good.
