Oh, I really like this kid. Well spoken, sharp, strong chin. I would put money on this kid being the stereotypical "Iowa success" story. Hope he's a star someday. I would love to see him at the B1G media days or interviews with Howard and Dinardo.

Probably DE, but depending on how much weight and muscle he puts on his frame he could be DT. Lol could even move to O-line. You never know with Iowa.

So he was recruited for DLine of some sort? Sounds like he thinks he will redshirt.

He was recruited as a DE. I watched him play against Mount Vernon and Tristan Wirfs in the fall.

I think he ends up as an athletic DT or a strong-side DE like Parker Hesse. He reminds me a little of Hesse, actually.

That is always a concern with any injury.

The first surgery was for a ruptured tendon. The second surgery included a metal plate, screws and bone fusion.

That doesn't sound great. I hope it heals and doesn't bother him for 50 years.
