Would be great to get T. Smith back this week. Both Smith's on the field and it will be suicidal for defenses to load the box.
What is T Smith's specific injury? Do they have a project time frame for recovery?

I agree, but we need to find a way to get a cleaner pocket for CJ. Just hasn't had a lot of time to find receivers.

No, not all the time. Both Smiths need not be on the field at the same time all the time. We don't usually have 2 TEs in every pay pass play either. We did have a few 5 wide on pass plays in the Pitt game.
I don't see why Iowa needs 2 possession receivers in at the same time...Meerkat and Hillyer.
Really, we had at least 2 possession receivers in on every pass play last year with another of KF's favorite offensive starters KMM...should I mention KF's propensity to play the bruising, slow fullback/halfback that is lights out on pass protection and can take a beating as most important to KF's offense? QB, fullback/halfback, possession receiver as most used wide receiver - all were KF choices for offense. Never would have seen Canzeri unless everyone else was hurt. Who is going to start at running back once L. Daniels is healthy? Why was L. Daniels chosen as starter in the first place? IMO, KF should lend his interests to things he has expertise.
I have yet to see my theories on Iowa's offense proven wrong.
Yes, Wegher got chased off. No, I didn't say KMM shouldn't have played but I did say KMM shouldn't have been the primary pass receiver for Iowa. My theories are that KF is incompetent on offense, <<<but thanks to KF giving more responsibility to other coaches, Iowa's offense is more potent>>> .
