Hey Kirk Ferentz, RichRod just got a better bowl game.

Outstanding deduction. You're obviously very gifted.

This. And the fact that Rich Rod failed to get Michigan to a bowl game the past two years, so fans are hungrier than ever.

Hungrier than ever to watch Michigan play defense like they do. Hungrier than ever to watch them get blown out by Ohio State. The only thing the Michigan fan base is "hungrier than ever" to do is get rid of RichRod.

Boy, all the sudden I'm hungrier than ever. Hey Dwayne, glad to see you are still the same d-bag all season. Shouldn't you still be stooping for the University to change tailgating rules and make things more stringent. You haven't let your important work get lost in the shuffle have you.

We need to make tweaks, but firing KOK isn't going to change a thing. He's doing what KF wants.

Michigan made a "better" bowl game because of their fans. They won 7 games, just like us. And they beat who, exactly? It's got NOTHING to do with how good the teams are, and EVERYTHING to do with money. Michigan brings more money.

I couldn't agree more on why Michigan was chosen. My point about better bowls is that we often tout, "3 straight New Years day bowls" like it's a great accomplishment. I guess we can now say...we've been to 3 New Years day bowls and one with a better payout than the worst New Year's day bowls. Don't tell me you'd rather play in the Insight against Missouri than get an SEC team on New Year's day. Please...

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want KF to replace KOK, however, I understand that isn't going to happen. We need some type of infusion of new blood to implement a more aggressive game plan into the mix. Just because we run a prostyle offense with the emphasis on establishing the run, doesn't mean we have to be predictable and stick to running the ball all the time when we weren't consistent. Did we have a dominant offensive line this year? I say no. They were dominant against EI, Iowa State, Penn State, etc, but against good teams, they were not dominant in establishing the run. No knock against them, they have a chance next year to be that dominant group.

My question for KOK lovers, is why didn't we go to a more ball control passing game with more of a pass first mentality, since we didn't have an experienced running back and the right guard struggled in the running game. You had a senior QB for gods sake. We did the same things over and over...and we did it worse each week over the last four games.

Sorry dude, Gator is the inferior bowl game. Have you ever been to Jacksonville? It really sucks.

Much rather go to Arizona - far superior game.

Sorry to burst your bubble

I can't say I'd rather play Mizzou than an LSU/'Bama. But when our choice is Florida/Miss State or Nebraska/Mizzou, I'll take the Big 12 matchup this year.

Insight Bowl has higher payout than Gator Bowl. Insight has 3rd highest outside the BCS bowls. Insight is better. Just because a bowl game doesn't fall in the New Year doesn't mean it isn't a good bowl game.

The whole 'prestige' of the bowls has gone to pot. We've got Toilet Bowls being played after BCS bowls, lower bowls paying out more than higher bowls, blah blah.

Not the best I've got, but still far better than anything you've ever posted.

I just read your d-bag comment about the field rushers in your signature. You are all about control and keeping people abiding to all the laws aren't you. Thank god for people like you Dwayne, you keep us all safe.

Introspection is needed on the part of all people who can't acknowledge the connection between KOK and KF. You're correct that KOK is subpar. But you also think KF is a great coach for Iowa. Wouldn't a great coach realize that KOK was subpar?

Really...did you go to Tucson in September? I know this game is in Tempe, but Arizona is not at the top of my list of destinations. How do you not recognize MLK day in this day and age?

The degenerates at that game against Arizona was unbelievable. I've never heard so much smack talk in my life and classless behavior. It was like a prison break happened just before game time and they all stole tickets.

Still, I'd rather play Florida in the Gator or Mississippi State. A Big Ten team should want to hammer the SEC every chance they get. SEC fans have no respect for the Big Ten. We need to earn some.

Ummmm, we beat Michigan.

Rich Rod didn't get his team to a better bowl game than Ferentz, it was Michigan's FANS, and history that got them to a better bowl. Rich Rod really had nothing to do with it.
michigan doesn't travel worth a damn unless it's a BCS bowl, usually. Not having been to a bowl for a the past 2 however...... the epic collapse at the end of the year didn't help Iowa
