You're a tool. Maybe its a stupid question if he just had 10 catches last year, but since he had nine catches the whole year, I think its a fair question. You act like I threw a question out there on a three-year all big 10 starter. 9 catches (with a few drops that I can recall), and the expert himself, the boat claims bad quetsion. Try not to get too worked up ... You are always going to have the posters out there who like to be the "funny guy" ... Ignore it ... Your question is legit ... I, too, wonder about Herman because I don't know a lot about him ...
 
this dude does suck, I feel partly responsible because I responded first. I returned after a normal Saturday that normal people lead I see he continued to flame and troll for the better part of the day.

BTW this has lead to a grate discussion. good work!
 
Our TE needs to worry about blocking first, otherwise CJ would be starting. there was a video that I don't feel like linking to this thread of Herman destroying that ISU LB/DE last year. he'll be effective and that's enough.

Just as a general rule of thumb: if you're planning to post threads with topics that could easily be taken as an attempt to troll, it's best to wait until you've made at least 50 posts that demonstrate otherwise first.

Herman's a very good athlete, but I'm not sure re his blocking. I think he'll be more than capable running the seam route, though, and if his blocking was subpar, he wouldn't be playing. He can get down the field and I think he'll be just fine.

Another rule of thumb would be to not tell others to "grow up" and then follow that with calling them "dick", telling them to "GFY", saying "suck one", calling them a "jag-bag", calling them a "tool", and then say "tell your girlfriend not to wait up later."

It just screams that he is a 16 year old troll.


But yes, as I sarcastically answered early on, before mr. MHA got his panties in a bunch, Herman will do just fine when he gets the call.

With Herman and CJ have to believe those two TE sets are going to be particularly effective this year. Both are not only bigger than average TE's but, also athletic. CJ, already has the physical look of a NFL "blocking" TE and he can move and has good hands. Interested to see how effectively we use those TE's. Big targets for a "new" starting QB.
 
I think the OP had a legit question.

I've been wondering about Hearman's hands too. He did have a couple drops in open space last year that we don't see too often from our TE's. Although they were early in the season, I always had a bit of an uneasy feeling when the ball was going his way. But Reisner had exceptional hands and I remember some of his amazing catches, but some how have blocked out his drops if he had many-- i just cant recall them.

But I felt like Brad got better and better as the season rolled on, so I expect him to play at a high level as the #1 TE. And he is a good blocker.
