Look back at the last 7 decades of Iowa Basketball, 2000-09 was the 2nd worst decade in regards to win%.

would like to see a break down by coaches. Ido know Davis holds the record for most wins with just over 260 wins in 13 seasons, but age gives me a bias toward O'Conner for being the best coach taking Iowa to back to back Final 4's

Being a teenager in the 80's was a pretty good time to grow up on Iowa athletics. 80's decade of FB was excellent, as was Hoops. Both teams were ranked 1 in the nation two years apart.

I have been following Iowa BB since 1963. The following Iowa coaches, in retrospect, were really good:

1. Miller
2. Olson
3. Raveling
4. Davis

Dick Schultz was bad and Coach Lickliter was very bad. I didn't think Alford was bad, but he never seemed happy at Iowa.

Coach Fran is a great coach. He really knows how to motivate his players and he has a great system. Iowa will return to the NCAA tournament very soon. I just hope that Iowa fans now realize that a coach that gets your team to the NCAA tournament is a coach who should be supported and appreciated....hopefully we learned a lesson when we drove Tom Davis out. That was a huge mistake
