Here we go again with Urban Meyer's Health Issues

Well OSU has hugely deep pockets but if he retires it wont cost them anything but a super driven very good coach.

If he has not been diagnosed with migraine headaches yet gets really bad headaches then that is not good, maybe a blood pressure thing.

I wonder if his assistants are readying their resumes and throwing out secret feelers through agents etc.

If they were smart they would have been doing that since this summer....

Good. Retire and stay retired scumbag.
Gotta love that whenever the guy’s bad behavior and hiring processes catch up with him he has inexplicable “health complications” and has to step away for a minute or two to regain his balance. Why deal with your worst side when you can just wait for the media to forget about it?

I cant remember if Lou Holtz had health problems but he knew just when to get out of town at Minnesota and NDame before the violations. Not sure about when he was at Arkansas and S Carolina

It isn’t hard to figure out it is time to leave the University of Minnesota when Norte Dame comes calling. He left Arkansas after some good years to take the New York Jets head coaching job when Joe Namath was near the end of his career.

Somewhere out there the Iowa State Ronald Mcdonalds just got extra nervous

If I were a Cyclone fan I would be rooting to lose every remaining game. If OSU whispers then Campbell is gone. Honestly who the hell could blame him. That is the Mecca of college football.

I hate Ohio State. I’d almost cheer for the North Koreans against Ohio State. Problem I see here is that this will actually help Ohio State. Because of all the reasons Finebaum listed, Urban is not the best fit for Ohio State right now. He was, but his run is ending. Damnit why can’t they go through that 10-20 year period where they suck?!

He actually has a serious health problem. I feel for him on some level.

I am truly amazed that he survived last summer, however. He and Gene Smith should be GONE. Smith is a scumbag as well.

Campbell could very well be the next head coach at Ohio State. He is the perfect age and is a fine young coach who can recruit and motivate his players. Why wouldn't Ohio State hire him?

Well, if you wouldn't harbor wife beaters on your staff and not report him, maybe you wouldn't have these headaches. Maybe he gets torn between what is college football and what dirty things have to be done succeeding vs doing the right thing. Maybe that weighs on him? Just sayin'.

Apparently he was away from football after Florida and was fine again, otherwise, would have have come back?

Yes, I completely could see Matt Campbell going there. Seems the timing would work out and he'd be back in Ohio.

I imagine when you've already had health issues, when you screwed up like he did concerning the DV issue, and when you're already under pressure as one of the top 2-3 college programs in the country to produce, it would be pretty taxing on your health.

Campbell and ISU runs the table or they even go 8-4, he'll be getting calls from tOSU should Urban resign.
