Are there really any 1 stars or do they really start with 2 star in the rankings? There aren't a whole lot of 5 stars so take away the 1's & 5's, and the middle is pretty close, IMO. I don't put a lot into them as well as the players in HS could have really benefited from the good players around them. Say a 5 star QB had a really good line or RB, that makes them look better.
Jake Christiansen was a 4 or 5 star coming out and look how he adjusted to college f-ball. I'm starting to think he had a good cast around him on his HS team.
Also, it's amazing how the Higdon player that switched from Iowa to Michigan was a 3* when he verbaled to Iowa but the day after he switched to go to Michigan, he turned into a 4*. Yea, whatever.
