Isn't the time between losing/firing a coach and the new hire the best? I went from being sick about this season to now fired up about the future.
I feel bad for Coach Lick but the simple fact is that this is a results world. OK maybe the system works but you have to have the people (coaches and players) to make it work. There is a lot of talent on this team and for whatever reason that talent was not translated to this system.
I hope that Mr. Barta has the ability to lure a motivated, experienced head coach to Iowa City. I am sure that the new CHA facilities will be a plus. I can't wait for the rumors, the airplane tracking and the introduction of a new head coach. Hopefully, this will be last major hire for a long time.
