Just taking some time to point out for those that wear the Tigerhawk logo who was the mastermind behind it. I think you would be surprised on how many don't know and you might have been one of them

How would us minions even know these things are possible....Without Hayden Fry... there are NOT 30+ thread topics every other week crying about Iowa being a team capable of being a top 25 team (or close to it) every week of most every year.

Made simpler, there is not anyone complaining about Iowa being barely above .500 in the B1G year after year!

HP40, I understand what you're trying to say, Fry's influence has been felt for many years and probably many more to come, which is why Iowa football was fun and exciting to watch during his tenure....you never knew what to expect, and his teams were full of surprises, great coaching staff....In a way this is better to talk about than 3/4's of the threads....however, I just wish KF would've kept a little of Fry's bag of tricks handy.....that would make watching Iowa now a little more exciting....I love the logo, I love the Swarm, and I love the kids who sacrifice practices, and games on Saturday, it's just KF I can't figure out, and as a Fry disciple, it's even more mind boggling....Oh well, on to Illinois and hope and pray that a little of Fry comes out next Saturday....

Actually, MSU "won" title in 1978, but probation made them ineligible to go to Rose Bowl...but he was first non-OSU/Michigan Rose Bowl participant!
