Felt with about 1:30 left in the game Stirtz clearly put himself over the team. Not a good look and basically let a guy score without contention, can't do that no matter how important you think you are to the team.

This team doesn’t lack effort just talent. Dolph keeps referring to Stirtz as All American. Although he was bad today he is likely a second or third team All big talent. No one else at near that level. Just reality of inheriting a decent Drake team

Needed to play a much better non conference schedule. Ole Miss and Iowa State were the only power 4 matchups. Beating up on bad teams is fine but does it really prep a team for B1G regular season? 1-2 better matchups may have helped.
