Is anyone aware of a site that shows Hawkeyes in the NFL and their performance each week? I knew of one in the past, loved it, now lost it.
Here you go, sir.I take it by the silence in the room nobody knows?
You're spot on.Sadly there are a lot of Hawkeyes injured right now in the NFL. Bulaga, Yanda, Daniels, Hitchens and CJ Fiedorowicz are all out with injuries, some of them severe. I think Hitchens is out for 6 more weeks and Yanda is out for the year. CJ was just put on the IR with a concussion.
It is crazy how quickly the NFL churns through players. These guys spend their whole lives trying to get to the NFL and most of them get thrown out after a couple seasons. Then suddenly they're 27 years old with bad legs and no real idea what to do with their lives. A guy like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady must have seen thousands of players come and go through their rosters.
You're spot on.
That said... if you ask any of those players who only played a few years "So was it worth it?"
Almost all of them don't even hesitate and answer "YES".
They lived the dream, even if it was shorter than they hoped for. God bless 'em all
Yeah I just can't believe how fast guys like Tony moeaki washed out of the NFL. I know Tony had a bunch of injuries but I thought he was gonna be a stud in the league.
Scott Chandler was another that surprised me. He had some really good years recently and now he's done.
How old is Chandler? He had to be getting up there in age for an NFL player.
