Washington DC sports radio (the Junkies, for anybody that lives out here) gave Iowa some major compliments this a.m. when running through the ACC/B1G challenge results. These guys are pretty harsh at times. Their quotes for Iowa beating ND and Brey (who they seem to know and really like) were "Notre Dame lost to Iowa, but Iowa is legit this year." "Roy Marble's son is outstanding." To the show's younger producer, "You probably don't remember Roy Marble. That guy was unreal." Paraphrasing a bit that its nice being relevant again. Another example too of why expansion makes sense, if now mid-Atlantic NY/NJ radio regularly covers the B1G.

I agree, and the exposure is nice and will help Iowa come tournament time.

Now if only there were some Brad Quast Jr's running around to replace Morris next season.

The defense was terrible, but to win 98-93 instead of 58-53 is going to attract more attention from the outside and turn some heads. Nobody expects that type of score out of the Big 10.

It was much more entertaining to watch. Not to long ago it would have taken Iowa 3 games to score that many points against an ACC team.

What did you expect form a team who played 3.5 games in 6 days? They played well considering they had to have been tired with all of the travel
