Minnesota isn't any more, but they were back in the '50's and '60's and my grandpappy taught me to hate Minnesota with a passion. He never said anything about the Clowns because they ain't our rival, they're just a little farm school in Ames. Did you know that Iowa State has more native Iowan attending it than any other school in America? It's true and that is why Iowa State is awesome.

I know but I get to game week and it just makes me hate those clowns soooo much. Its just the fan in me that wants to make fun of them. Its soo easy because the they think they can play football with the big boys.

We had some mistakes in execution. Ferentz could have hung two more TDs on them, though. He chose not to because a W is a W. We would have been no better off if the score was 42-14 than we would have been if the score had been 17-14. Either way, we shook the monkey and AIRHBG didn't claim a victim, so it seems like a great game to me.

And honestly, kmurp, had Iowa ran off tackle left all day we would have scored 56 points on those guys but what we did was to try to tune the offense some more at game speed. I just don't see the point of not basically using the game as an open practice and walking out with good tape to build for the future.
