Well, it was a 21-14 score at one point in the second half against that team.. Final of 28-14. Not exactly a dominating performance, at home, against a bad team.

And by "Beaches" you obviously mean the movie with Bette Midler. Yes, all those schools have purchased that movie and show it to recruits. Who turns down a scholly from a school who tells you that your are the wind beneath their wings?

Ill tell you what the fuss is pal......Iowa just had a huge win for the program breaking a losing streak and they still dont get any respect. No wonder recruits wont come to Iowa when the stupid media dogs us every chance they get.

Their rivalry week, that is. Our rivals are:

1) Nebraska - both storied programs with great traditions and shared border
2) Wisconsin - Evenly matched all time series
3) Minnesota - Hate 'em
4) Illinois - Another border war

ISU is just another game for Iowa. ISU will be good rival for Northern Illinois when they drop into the MAC.

So being optimistic is trolling now, huh? This team isn't going to win the Big Ten, but they've got 7 or 8 wins this year if the chips fall right. We haven't looked great, but the B1G is awful.

You are 112% correct. By saying its a rival really makes it look like they are at the same level as Iowa which they are clearly NOT!!!!!!!

Minnesota isn't any more, but they were back in the '50's and '60's and my grandpappy taught me to hate Minnesota with a passion. He never said anything about the Clowns because they ain't our rival, they're just a little farm school in Ames. Did you know that Iowa State has more native Iowan attending it than any other school in America? It's true and that is why Iowa State is awesome.

So because Ferentz didn't run the score up against UNI in 2009 the 2009 Iowa team was bad? Really? Is that what you're saying here?
