Hawkeyes vs Cowboys Preview

Excellent write up as usual Tony. Do you have inside info. or is it just your gut instinct in regard to wrestling Clark instead of Gilman? Based on his recent results I don't know how you could Not wrestle Gilman tomorrow night unless he is ill or injured but I guess we will just have to see how things play out. Either way the Hawks are in great shape at 125. Go HAWKS!

I would say you nailed it on the head tony. Personally I think we will see Gilman but who knows. I realize DSJ match is big, but I am most excited for the Evans match. Big match at home and I think Mike just may squeak this one out. Can't wait for this dual to get going.

One reason I could see wrestling Clark would be if it is still an open competition in the coaches minds then it would give them another common opponent to compare them as Gilman has already wrestled Kilarma. Or to see if Clark has his weight under control enough to handle a one hour weigh in. That being said, hard not to wrestle Gilman w/ the way he has been wrestling this year. He just seems more reliable to me right now. Clark may have more upside, but Gilman is very consistent.

I agree with the above and think Gilman will wrestle tonight. Gilman has proven that he is more than capable, but for some reason I think there's a better chance at bonus points with Clark tonight. Gilman has a good defense and can ride really well, but I believe Clark has the better offense and has a better chance of blowing a match open. Just my opinion though.

Lots of great matches tonight. Hopefully Ramos can continue thumping Morrison and DSJ can prove he's #1. Excited to see how Moore stacks up with Caldwell as well as Evans and Perry. Unfortunately I think Perry is the solid #2 at 174 with Howe head and shoulders above the rest. With that said, Evans is in Carver and hopefully that place will be rocking tonight to help him squeak one out.

Hey all. I have 4 tickets for tonight but can't get over. I am in west Des Moines area. I could meet someone as early as 400. They are 16 rows off the floor so great seats. No charge if you want to get hold of me. Text me if interested. 515-360 -8481 Jay

Sorry for not posting it earlier. I don't know any of you personally otherwise I would have done something different:)

Go hawks

You're all good. I usually check out the wrestling forum throughout the day but we had some drama at work and I didn't get the chance otherwise I would have seen them.
