Winning all awards that go to best TE in the country automatically drops one to 2nd team. I think it's written in the bylaws.

Well the coaches did till they didn't... A lot of fans were pretty excited about getting him. Till they weren't.. He's turned out to be a heck of a player. Good for him and ASU.

Lets be fair in conference he faced 3 teams in the top 40 in rush defense, with Stanford being #3 at #40.

I'm not giving the guy the Heisman or anything. But the powers that be have him as 3rd team All-American... Pretty sure none of our RBs are on any conference lists let alone national ones. There's a boat load of other RBs in the country that aren't either. So the kid is pretty good it's fair to say. Just pointing out the obvious.
