Bowl games matter if you live in the cold and want to go to a warm place like Florida/Texas/Hawaii...
Bowl games matter if you have your contract connected to Bowl invites or wins...
Bowl games matter to the players, especially if they haven't been around much, and get to go to a warm place to be rewarded for all their hard work...
Bowl games matter to the big money/corporate money people that stoke college football...it is an opportunity to entertain clients and the make up some "continuing education" class near Tampa, etc. etc....so it can be written off.
Bowl games are important since there are, what, 60 of them, and if you aren't invited...you really suck.
Bowls games in Detroit and NY in the cold are meaningless.
With the playoffs in place...the final four is what matters...
If you are a coach who hangs his hat on a big Pinstripe Win...well, you are pretty, well...enough
Bet the players of teams in these bowls disagree. Is it where they wanted to end up? Obviously not. But meaningless is far from how they feel about it. The extra practices are worth it in itself. It's nice to get to play in a warmer climate but we don't get to pick where we play. Playing in a bowl game is a reward to the players no matter the destination. They want to play as many games as possible and represent the Hawks anywhere they can.
Dude, come on. I get it that the OP is being triggering, but there are 37 bowl games not counting the playoff games.Where's the link to this list? A lot of schools don't go routinely enough to bowl games to lose them consecutively.
Iowa seems to be on top of the most consecutive bowl loss list in college football.
Edging out by one loss...Central Michigan, Colorado State and a couple others...
Big game for Kirk...probably not...he is untouchable...
It might be just consecutive losses not necessarily years.Where's the link to this list? A lot of schools don't go routinely enough to bowl games to lose them consecutively.
When will all this "growth" manifest itself? The team gets extra practices. The team gets to grow.
When will all this "growth" manifest itself?

I'm pretty sure KF has mixed up the Bowl Game with the Spring Game.
How dare you dismiss the glory and pageantry of playing in Yankee Stadium!Bowl games matter if you live in the cold and want to go to a warm place like Florida/Texas/Hawaii...
