Willies looked good at Saturdays practice IMO. So did #84, not sure of his name, caught two long balls for td. KMM steady as suspected. Hillyer on sidelines.
Hillyer seems to be the forgotten man. Great 3rd down receiver. When I think about the bowl game, his two 3rd down catches on the opening drive of the 2nd half were massive. Goes air-born and gives some life to the offense.
I like the diversity that the group gives them. I don't anticipate Scheel contributing this year at all. But in a year or two certainly. It would take some injuries for him to be called upon. It's not often that a Frosh receiver can walk in and play over as many guys that will have had experience playing. I like Willies and Hillyer I think they'll be counted on in the red zone and on 3rd downs alot. The fact this group has alittle bit of everything speed and size along with the versatility of the TE group should make our offense fun to watch.
