Some revelations about Hunter's life off the field that most of us are not aware of - do yourself a favor and read this article:

It’s a scene Brian Hunter will keep forever in his mental scrapbook.
He was watching his son — Iowa linebacker Jeremiha Hunter — discipline his children, when suddenly the generational lines became blurred.
Jeremiha paused, realizing there was something familiar in the words and tone he used. Brian smiled. “Absolutely, one of my favorite things in life,†the proud grandfather said. “It’s a great parenting moment, especially when they’re correcting a child and they get a mental picture of their parents and they see themselves turning into the person they disagreed with.â€

WOW, I had no idea. Great story and that bumps JH up towards the top in my book. I could barely keep a fish alive when I was in college. To have twins, school, and football and stay sane is just unreal.

His dad sounds like a nice guy. I've met JH a few times. Never knew he had twins. Anyone else on the team have kids other than JH and Tillison? I agree with theboat. I barely managed to keep myself alive in college. Hats off to them.

So I guess it is possible to go to school, play football and raise kids all at the same time:)

How come these are the stories that you never hear? That's amazing to me. The only thing even close to this is last year when we heard about Stanzi and Co. visiting the children's hospital. But with that you really only need to make an appearance once and awhile. Hunter has a full-time commitment..

I see what you did there. ;):p

What a great story. It's nice when you get to know a little of the players off the field & realize they take the pads off at times. It really adds more meaning when rooting for them. This fan will have a special place for Jeramiah Hunter.

As a father of 3 1/2 yr old twin boys, I realize how busy & difficult it can be at times. I can't imagine balancing school & football along with it. He sounds like he has the perfect personality & patience to raise them.
