2 generations of Hawkeye haulers heading out of Muscatine today in route to Oklahoma full of new donated items for tornado victims. The Oklahoma football team will unload the trailers in Oklahoma City.

Our boys' baseball club got into contact with the Baseball league in Moore, OK after their devastating tornado. A call was put out to all of baseball organizations in the Cedar Rapids/Marion area. They asked for baseball/sports equipment to be collected. They ended up filling a semi trailer full of clothes, baseball equipment, football gear, and bikes. Quaker Oats stepped up to the plate and delivered two trailers of water and a trailer of Gatorade to the effort. Yes, disasters like this bring out the best in people.
