I wish i could of done more for my team in the game and i will never forget our senior leadership since they have now set the bar on how it is to be and iowa hawkeye football player. I love my team and now we know we have to work even harder than before to get to where we want to be. Yes very sad I heard besides being a Hawk fan he just retired in July.

You don't even know if he was serious. It could have been a serious comment w/no harm/insult intended.

With all due respect, it was a jerky thing for him to say in the wake of a tragic story about the death of Hawk fans on the way to the bowl game. I think he can say he's sorry for it.

I've known Ken for about 40 years. Real nice guy. I, too, made the trip to the bowl. With all the construction in the ENTIRE STATE of Georgia on I-75 and with the three accidents I saw in the area described on I-75, another accident was probable. My prayers go out to the Behrens family.
