Your thinking is too short-term.

The truth is, Kirk and Brian have been saving all the "really good plays" for years- ever since BF joined the staff.

Once BF becomes the HC, he'll open that vault, triggering a couple undefeated regular seasons and yes possibly NC's.

The rest of cfb will eventually catch-up and return the Hawks to the land of 7-8 wins against the weaker portion of the schedule, but by then BF will have a 20 year contract.

I heard they are working on a double reverse flea flicker with a backwards pass to the receiver who ran the first portion of the double reverse and then a pass back to the QB. Tests have shown the play getting destroyed in the backfield 68% of the time, resulting in a fumble 18% of the time and resulting in a gain between 3 and 7 yards 24% of the time. I like those odds.
