Hate to say this again but we could be better and win less games

Did you run into a fellow Hawk fan last year who was enjoying talking smack to any upcoming opponent? H*ll no. We were all too busy changing our ruined jockey shorts from the previous week's nail-biter to ever get overly cocky about the next game. It was a very un-Nebraska-like winning season. We were 9-0 and nobody was getting cocky and acting like they lived in Lincoln.

It was very enjoyable. And rare. And very good.

Hang on and enjoy the ride!

I like that clip. I do prefer the longer version that includes a good line at the end.

I think you can absolutely win less games and be a better team. Hell, Kirk has said it himself before. Its all match ups and a few breaks going your way.

And I am fully prepared to be yelled at by my GF all season as I pace and swear at my tv because every single game is within one possession all year long. Only to scream like a madman after games such as MSU and promise to take her anywhere for dinner, which was a mistake.

Totally agree with the OP. I try not to have the highest expectations going into the season (I do like kool-aid, but not as much as some of you guys ;)) so I'm not too let down by the end of it. I think best case scenario we're looking at 2 losses and worst case probably 4 (I hope). Really depends on the development of the O-line (like everyone already knows) and how the new LB's gel (which I have total confidence in-especially when we're probably going to have 2 seniors and a junior starting).

That's not kool aid, that's common sense. I won't predict a win against NW until I see one.
