Harding and Freeman had good days today

Josh Dix is averaging 12 pts and 3 assists per game.

Pryce Sandfort is averaging 15 points and almost 5 rebounds a game.

Fran has his flaws, but he can evaluate talent.

Heard the following from a source:

McDermott is fed up with Freeman and lack of rebounding (had excellent production in limited minutes here)

Dix mother is seriously ill and the impetus for Josh transferring close to home.

Mc Dermott is also fed up with the NIL landscape and may be stepping down soon.

Sturtz didn't get a single D1 offer and McCollum sweated out the possibility of him getting poached for a full year until signing day.

Great stuff!

Saw some of the TCU game and yeah Harding did look good. They seemed to have handed him the reigns to run that offense and he's running with it. Good for him they took down Wisky and had control of that game most of the way. Largely due to Harding.

I’ve only watched Creighton once, when they played Iowa State.

Freeman looks physically like a different guy. I don’t think he’s recovered or might be injured. I don’t know.

Dix is a lights out shooter but the defense and ball handling were not good enough. Some of that is he just shouldn’t be a primary ballhandler and he has to do that way too much for CU.

McD being “fed up” with NIL is comical considering the amount of money spent last year to construct what is likely a roster of a barely top 100 team. CU has more money than most programs including Iowa State and Iowa and I doubt it’s close.

Was she ill prior to him transferring from Iowa to Creighton or a recent development? It seems now that you mention it, it may have played into his decision to transfer from Iowa.

Dix is a good defender. When he was on the court for Iowa he was their best defender. I know the bar wasn’t very high, but I will standby that he is a solid on the defensive end.

I do agree he shouldn’t be your primary ball handler. Actual point guard duties should be limited to 5-10 minutes a game. He is at his best at the 2, hunting for shots…he is such a efficient scorer.

Didn’t watch the game, but I did check out the box score. The stat line looked good, he is given them exactly what they brought him in for.
