Win turnover margin
Win field position
Run the ball
Score....at least some
Stay healthy at key spots
Can't get behind
Can't get a lot of penalties
Let's face it, things have to go our way or we could lose the rest too. Margin of error razor thin

Just being a realist here, he's done for the year / college career.
I know Parker and Woods are Warlocks and all, but there is just no way this can continue. How many times can a team win with more punts that 1st downs or completions?

Reminds me of college when there was a group project. It was divided amongst all 3 people, but 2 of them knew the 3rd wasn't going to do shit so they do his part so they can get a good grade.

Man, you gotta take it easy with all of these replies. We are all happy Iowa won, and that they have won 11 of their last 13. But we can also be rightfully in disbelief that they continue to win in new and unprecedented ways each week. You act like you, KF, and BF have been playing 7-dimensional chess all this time and no one else can see what is going on. How about you enjoy the win without trying to call out everyone who has a slightly less than rosy take on the last place offense in the country?

I call them out because I can and its fun. I am well aware of our offensive weaknesses. I did not just fall off the turnip truck. I am not a big BF fan and think K F is far too conservative. The reality is that given how we are coached, we have won an unprecedented number of games. That result can certainly be conclusive as to the value of our coaches‘ decision making. I am not suggesting we could not be better with a different offensive philosophy. But, damn, given all of the warts pointed out with regard to our coaching, how do you explain our W-L record? So, when I have the opportunity, I will credit our coaches based on their win-loss record. No OFFENSE, but that is my view. No pun intended.
Do we have to say "last place offense"...can we just say unconventional.....lmao

I sure hope you're right. I keep thinking back to 2017 when we beat OSU and then got blown out the next week and a couple of years ago when dropped one to Purdue the week after beating PSU. Obviously his wasn't nearly as big of a win, but it just seems like a Hawk thing to do.

First week watching Iowa football? They’ve been winning 70% of their games like that for quite a while now. Doesn’t work against the big boys but Hawks won’t see one of those til December.
