It's 100% bullshit but you have to love how bad this is blowing up on Michigan boards. Their fans are already having strokes about getting beat by Iowa, the reffing at OSU, and being stuck in the Orange Bowl. Adding this to the mix warms my heart.
He actually making $2,000,000 more than Jeff Fisher this year if you include the interest-free life insurance premiums.I only wish that were true... I can't see it myself. He's got as good of a gig as there is. I mean unless he just detests college (he sure don't seem to) The money is about the same. Maybe his wife is just a Cali girl now after having been out there a couple times now for jobs of his. But seriously his wife is the only thing that makes sense. Job wise why go to the Rams and attempt to rebuild that mess? I know it's winter time but I don't think the grass in LA is greener than Ann Arbor for him... But to see the Michigan fans panties all up in a bunch over it is worth it. Now they know how we felt with KF for a few yrs during our good run with the constant rumors

His position as a Michigan alumnus, starting QB, best recruiter in the nation, and the most popular head coach in school history (yes, more popular than Schembechler) make him almost impossible to fire. You don't get that kind of job security in the NFL.
Jeff fisher has dirt on the owner. Has to. He isn't going anywhere
True but you also don't have to recruit in the NFL and I imagine if there was an NFL team that wants him, he'll be able to negotiate a contract that would be worth more.
Harbaugh is making more this year than any NFL coach. There's no way he's going to come into the league and make more than Belichick or Pete Carroll. It doesn't work that way.
Right now he's got total, ground up control over his program all the way from incoming athletes to play calling. He has no owners, GMs, or any other front office to answer to which is why he got rammed out of the pros to begin with. Harbaugh could tell Warde Manuel to go pick out new drapes for his office and he would do it.
The NFL is no place for a megalomaniac control-freak head coach, and the NCAA is the perfect place for one.
What makes you think he's leaving Michigan?
